Lalbagh Fort

Lalbagh Fort is an incomplete 17th-century Mughal fort complex located in Old Dhaka. It was built by Prince Muhammad Azam during the reign of Emperor Aurangzeb. The site includes a mosque, the tomb of Pari Bibi, and Diwan-i-Aam (the audience hall). The beautiful gardens and historical architecture make it one of Dhaka’s most visited landmarks.

How to get there: You can take a rickshaw or CNG from Gulistan or Sadarghat. Ride-sharing apps like Uber or Pathao are also convenient.

Ahsan Manzil

Also known as the Pink Palace, Ahsan Manzil was the official residence of the Nawab of Dhaka. Built in the 19th century, it is now a museum showcasing the Nawab family’s lifestyle and artifacts.
Location: Kumartoli, near the Buriganga River in Old Dhaka

National Parliament House

Designed by renowned architect Louis Kahn, this iconic building is one of the largest legislative complexes in the world. The surrounding area includes a serene lake and green spaces, open to the public.

Hatirjheel Lake

Hatirjheel is a modern recreational area featuring a lake, bridges, walkways, and fountains. It's popular for boating, night views, and jogging.
